Purpose may show itself in the [)Will to Power]] (Nietzsche), the Will to Life (Schopenhauer), Will to Knowledge (Nietzsche again), or other forms of Will. Even in the Will to Destruct Purpose.
Purpose can be balanced, or not balanced. Both create their own contingencies.
